Pirates to play Chiefs in pre-season warm-up

Having announced that as part of their preparations for the 2022/23 campaign the Cornish Pirates will be playing a pre-season home fixture against Premiership side Exeter Chiefs, tickets are inevitably selling fast.

Supporters have understandably been excited to hear news of the fixture to be played at the Mennaye Field on Friday 2 nd September (ko 7.30pm), which will rekindle memories of a last such friendly match played between the two sides back in August 2018, when in front of what was a sell-out crowd the Pirates emerged 29-21 winners.

Tickets for the fixture, available now, are as follows:
Terrace/Open Seating - £12 (for under 16s the admission price is £1)
Microcomms Stand - £16
Truro & Penwith College Stand - £20

Because demand is expected to be a high, and another sell-out crowdanticipated, it is recommended that supporters purchase their needs assoon as possible either from the Cornish Pirates ticket office (open Mon-Fri 9am–12 noon) or on-line at: https://cornish-pirates.com/tickets/

For those interested in hospitality, a carvery meal will be available (3 x courses plus wine) at £65 per head. The price also includes a seat in the Microcomms Stand. Besides the above encounter, the Cornish Pirates also have one other pre-season friendly fixture confirmed, which is away to Taunton Titans on Saturday 20th August (ko 3pm).
